GreenYield DAO is the brainchild of a group of experienced entrepreneurs who realized that the largest and quickest impact isn't achieved by waiting. And that we, probably like you, were frustrated, that local regulations and restrictions limit what's possible for most people to self host, and we realized that the amount of available solar energy may be limited in many places.
Thus, the GreenYield concept was conceived based on a simple idea: Let us co-own and -operate hosted renewables infrastructures where the impact is maximised. And democratize the access to participate, offset impact, and use GreenYield as a "pension savings" which automatically grows in size every year.
To realize the GreenYield Idea, the non-profit GreenYield Foundation was created to anchor the initial project launch and act as an advisory and custodian of the core concept as the GreenYield co-op DAO grows and gains traction and engagement from the ecosystem.
